On October 13, strong winds are expected in Baku, the Absheron Peninsula, and several districts of Azerbaijan. This was reported by the National Hydrometeorological Service, which issued a yellow warning.
According to the service, a yellow warning has been issued due to expected windy weather conditions.
According to the warning, southeasterly winds will blow in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula, as well as in Salyan, Gobustan, Neftchala, Hajigabul, Khachmaz, Siazan, Shabran, Quba, Khizi, and Gusar. Wind speed will be 13.9–20.7 m/s.
Abrupt Weather Shift
The yellow warning concerns an abrupt change in weather conditions. In the specified districts and on the Absheron Peninsula, an intensification of the southeasterly wind is expected.
