Ucar resident granted indefinite Grade I disability – Agency takes up case

Tural Gurbanov, head of the Public Relations and Communications Department of the State Agency for Medical and Social Expertise and Rehabilitation, shared information on his social media account about a new decision concerning a resident of Ucar district.
He said that Elman Arif oghlu Aliyev, born in 1997, had been granted indefinite (lifetime) Grade I disability and the relevant monthly social payments due to an 85 percent impairment of the body's functions.
It was reported that although E. Aliyev's Grade II disability period had expired, the "Form 88" referral required to extend the period had not been entered into the electronic system. Without the relevant referral, it was not possible to assign disability status.
After the matter was reported in the media, the Agency immediately took the situation under control. As a result of technical procedures and support measures carried out jointly with TABIB, the necessary referral was entered into the electronic system by the relevant medical institution.
Following the operational assessment, Elman Aliyev was formally granted indefinite Grade I disability, as well as monthly social payments due to disability.
