Tree-planting campaign and district-wide cleanup held in Samukh on September 27 – Remembrance Day

On the occasion of September 27 – Remembrance Day, organized by the Samukh District Executive Authority, a tree-planting campaign and a district-wide cleanup were held in the district, as in previous years, to honor the cherished memory of martyrs who gave their lives for Azerbaijan's territorial integrity in the Patriotic War.

The campaign was attended by the head of the Samukh District Executive Authority, Firdovsi Aliyev, heads of law enforcement agencies, families of martyrs, veterans, war participants, employees of the Office of the Head of the Executive Authority, heads of departments, institutions and organizations, and representatives of the district public.

The tree-planting campaign covered all residential areas of the district. Within the framework of the campaign, landscaping and cleaning work was carried out in the areas, and a total of up to 250 pine trees were planted.

As part of the district-wide cleanup, large-scale cleaning and landscaping work was carried out in cemeteries, streets and avenues, parks and other public areas in the district. The areas were cleared of household and other waste, dried and neglected flowers were replaced with new ones, greenery was cared for, and the surroundings of trees were cleaned and put in order.

Relevant work was also carried out to improve the sanitary and hygienic condition of streets and avenues, as well as public areas, and the surrounding areas were brought to a cleaner and better-maintained state.

Along with expressing deep respect for the cherished memory of our martyrs, the tree-planting campaign and district-wide cleanup serve the improvement, greening and further enhancement of the ecological environment of the district.
