Azerbaijan's men's and women's chess teams will play their next matches on September 24 at the 46th World Chess Olympiad, which is taking place in Samarkand, Uzbekistan.
Azerbaijan's men's team will face India in the eighth round. The women's team will play Argentina.
After seven rounds, Azerbaijan's men's team is in fifth place with 12 points. The women's team is in 14th place with 10 points.
The World Chess Olympiad is held under the Swiss system and includes 11 rounds. The competition ends on September 27.
