Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev called Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian. The press service of the Azerbaijani president reported this.
During the telephone conversation, the head of the Azerbaijani state congratulated Masoud Pezeshkian on his birthday and wished him strong health, long life and success in his work.
The Iranian president expressed his gratitude to Ilham Aliyev for the attention and congratulations.
It was noted that during the conversation the heads of state recalled with satisfaction their recent meeting in Bishkek and the issues discussed there.
It was also noted that a delegation of the Azerbaijani government is currently on a visit to Iran and, as part of the trip, discussions are being held on issues on the bilateral relations agenda.
