In Turkey's Erzincan province, the peaks of the Esence and Munzur mountains have been covered by the first snow of the current season. Evening rain in the city later turned to snowfall in the high-altitude areas.
Mount Munzur, 3,258 metres high, is located to the south of Erzincan, while Mount Esence, 3,549 metres high, lies to the north of the city.
The snow-covered peaks, shrouded in fog, visible from the centre of Üzümlü district, created picturesque views.
