Flydubai suspends Israel flights after pilots’ fight
Flydubai suspended flights to Israel and departures from the country at the request of Israel's Transport Minister Miri Regev. The move followed a fight between pilots aboard a plane flying from Dubai to Tel Aviv.

Flydubai has suspended flights to Israel and departures from the country. Israel's Transport Minister Miri Regev demanded the suspension after a fight between pilots aboard a plane traveling from Dubai to Tel Aviv. The carrier will not operate this route while the incident is being investigated.
Regev ordered an investigation into how a pilot who is an Omani citizen was allowed to operate the flight, given that Oman has no diplomatic relations with Tel Aviv. The ministry's agreement with Flydubai contains a ban on allowing such employees to operate flights.
Details of the incident
During the struggle, the captain of the aircraft managed to open the cockpit door, and passengers saw the fight.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu confirmed Trump's account that the first person to enter the cockpit was Israeli plumber Yaniv Hayon. The man was protecting his family. He incapacitated the attacker and raised the aircraft's nose.
After this, the pilots who were traveling on the aircraft on a business trip entered the cockpit, leveled the plane and managed to land it.
Netanyahu also put an end to rumors about the pilots' nationality: the captain is Indian and is currently in serious condition in hospital. The attacker is an Omani citizen.
The investigation into the incident is leaning toward the possibility of a terrorist attack aboard the Flydubai flight.
