A fireworks explosion occurred during a church festival in Mexico. Ten people died and more than 60 others were injured in the incident.
The blast caused the collapse of a wall or part of an adjacent building. As a result, people were trapped in the rubble while local residents and emergency personnel began searching for survivors.
The incident took place during a patronal festival in the community of Santa María Canchesda in the State of Mexico. Emergency specialists, including officers from the state police force, are working at the scene inspecting the site.
