Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky addressed the 81st session of the UN General Assembly in New York on September 23, 2026. In his speech, he said that without international pressure, Putin's war in Ukraine will spread more evil.
Zelensky also noted that Ukrainians understand how severe the coming winter could be, but the country will have no choice but to make Russia hurt in response.
"Ukrainians understand that this winter could be very severe for us. But in response we will have no other choice but to make Russia hurt," Zelensky said at the UN General Assembly.
