New John Deere technologies presented at ADAU

Modern agricultural technologies were presented at the Azerbaijan State Agricultural University (ADAU).
F4Media.az reports that the event was attended by Deputy Minister of Agriculture Seymur Safarli, ADAU Rector Zafar Gurbanov, John Deere Vice President for the CIS Peter Zaksen, Director of John Deere Azerbaijan – Agromotors Serkhan Aliyev, as well as university lecturers and students.
The participants first visited the John Deere Training and Simulation Center operating at ADAU.
Serkhan Aliyev, Director of John Deere Azerbaijan – Agromotors, said that the main purpose of the presentation was to demonstrate modern agricultural technologies, particularly new-generation machinery used in cotton production, to students and specialists, as well as to strengthen links between agricultural education and production.
Deputy Minister of Agriculture Seymur Safarli noted that the application of modern technologies plays an important role in increasing productivity and production efficiency. He stressed the importance of familiarizing students with modern machinery and increasing their practical knowledge.
ADAU Rector Zafar Gurbanov said that training personnel in line with the requirements of modern agriculture is one of the university's main priorities. The rector noted that the John Deere Training Center, which has been operating since 2017, enables students to increase their theoretical and practical knowledge of modern agricultural technologies.
During the presentation, participants were shown the John Deere CP570 cotton harvester. Detailed information was provided about the harvester's technical specifications, operating principles and application capabilities.
The Operations Center system, which enables the digital management of agriculture, was also presented. It was reported that the system provides digital monitoring of machinery operations, field data and production processes.
At the end, ADAU and John Deere discussed students' practical training, the integration of modern technologies into the educational process and opportunities for future cooperation.
