Average Monthly Pension in Azerbaijan Reaches 596 Manats
The average monthly pension in Azerbaijan reached 596 manats. The average age-based pension stood at 634 manats.

The average monthly pension in Azerbaijan reached 596 manats as of September 1, 2026, increasing by 10% compared with the same period last year. This was reported by the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Population.
Since the beginning of the year, pensions have been indexed and increased by 9.3%. At the same time, the average age-based pension stood at 634 manats.
From January through August, 5 billion 222 million manats were allocated for pension payments. This is 10%, or 488 million manats, more than the figure for the same period last year.
Over eight months, 26 thousand pensions were awarded through the electronic system proactively. Since the introduction of electronic pension awards in 2019, 205 thousand pensions have been processed in this way.
