On 28 September 2026, the fifth meeting of the trilateral customs committee between the governments of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Georgia and the Republic of Türkiye is taking place in Goygol District.
Delegations from the three countries are taking part in the event. The Azerbaijani side is headed by the chairman of the State Customs Committee, Colonel-General of the Customs Service Shahin Baghirov. The Turkish delegation is headed by the Deputy Minister of Trade of the Republic of Türkiye, Sezai Uçarmak; the Georgian delegation by the head of the Revenue Service of Georgia, Deputy Minister of Finance Mamuka Baratashvili.
The meeting is scheduled to include a broad discussion of the current state of cooperation between the customs services of the three countries and the prospects for its development.
