The 100th Anniversary Agrarian Business Festival has been held in Aghdam district. The festival, organized jointly by the Agrarian Innovation Center of the Ministry of Agriculture and the Special Representation of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Aghdam, Fuzuli and Khojavand districts, brought together representatives of state bodies, companies operating in the agrarian sector, associations, farmers, entrepreneurs and other participants.
The main goal of the festival is to promote the application of innovations and modern technologies in agriculture, to inform farmers and entrepreneurs about state support mechanisms, modern technologies and agricultural products, to expand their opportunities to offer products and services, and to strengthen public-private partnership.
Before the 100th Anniversary Agrarian Business Festival, 100 Agrarian Business Festivals were held in 56 districts, organized jointly by the Agrarian Innovation Center of the Ministry of Agriculture and district executive authorities, covering all economic regions of the country.
Minister of Agriculture Majnun Mammadov, the Special Representative of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Aghdam, Fuzuli and Khojavand districts Emin Huseynov and the event participants viewed the stands displayed at the festival.
The festival was attended by companies and state bodies operating in modern irrigation systems, plant protection, seed production, agricultural machinery, beekeeping and other agrarian fields. In total, about 100 companies and state bodies took part in the festival, and associations operating in the agrarian sector, women entrepreneurs and beekeepers also presented their products and services.
An exhibition was organized as part of the festival, presenting agricultural products, modern technologies, means of production and various products and services for the agrarian sector.
At the end of the event, letters of appreciation were presented to companies that actively participated in the Agrarian Business festivals.
