A fire broke out at 1:00 PM at an industrial facility in the Eriklicesme area of the Kosubogazi district, which specializes in the production of tomato paste as well as frozen fruits and vegetables.
According to preliminary reports, the fire began in the factory yard, where plastic crates caught fire. The flames spread rapidly, engulfing a significant portion of the facility's perimeter.
Numerous firefighting crews were dispatched to the scene. Emergency services are currently conducting operations to contain and extinguish the blaze.
Gendarmerie officers have cordoned off the surrounding area and are ensuring necessary safety measures in the incident zone.
