New 27 million manat production facility launched in Garadagh
A new facility for the production of paper and hygienic products has started operations in Baku's Garadagh district. The total investment value of the project is 27 million manat.

On September 10, the opening of the Fabriora Group LLC paper and hygienic products manufacturing plant took place in the Garadagh district of Baku. President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev attended the opening ceremony of the facility.
Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov and company founder Ibrahim Uygur informed the head of state that the plant, located on an area of nearly 11 hectares, will produce baby diapers, various napkins, paper and other hygienic products, as well as detergents.
The production process at the facility will utilize modern, highly automated technologies from Germany, Italy, and Turkey. The total investment value of the project is estimated at 27 million manat.
In addition to the domestic market, the products are intended for export to Georgia, Kazakhstan, Russia, Middle Eastern countries, and other foreign markets. As a result of the facility's operations, it is planned to provide permanent employment for 240 people.
The enterprise was privatized through an investment competition organized by the State Service on Property Issues. Based on an investment promotion document, the company received a 1 million manat exemption from VAT and customs duties during the import of equipment.
