The 9th Conference of the Samux district organization of the New Azerbaijan Party (YAP) has been held.
F4media.az reports that prior to the conference, participants and guests visited the monument of national leader Heydar Aliyev in the city of Samux and paid tribute to the memory of the Great Leader.
The event was attended by Head of Samux District Executive Power Firdovsi Aliyev, Members of Parliament Mubariz Gurbanli and Mushfig Jafarov, responsible official of the YAP Central Office Araz Salmanov, and delegates of the district organization.
At the conference, the memory of Heydar Aliyev and martyrs was commemorated with a minute of silence, and the National Anthem was played.
The agenda included hearing the report of the YAP Samux district organization and electing delegates to the 8th Congress of the party.
Chairman of the YAP Samux district organization Gunduz Bayramov presented the report. The report provided information on the organization's activities, work with local party branches, involvement of youth in party activities, public and political events, and measures taken to expand party membership.
In the speeches, attention was drawn to YAP's role in the country's public and political life, the policy implemented under the leadership of President and YAP Chairman Ilham Aliyev, and upcoming tasks.
The organization's activities during the reporting period were assessed as satisfactory. Subsequently, delegates to represent the Samux district organization at the 8th Congress were elected by vote.
