The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkey sent official congratulations to Azerbaijan on the occasion of the 108th anniversary of the liberation of Baku from Armenian-Bolshevik forces by the Islamic Army of the Caucasus.
“On the occasion of the 108th anniversary of the liberation of the capital of brotherly Azerbaijan — Baku — from occupation, we extend our most heartfelt congratulations to our Azerbaijani brothers and respectfully honor the memory of all our martyrs who gave their lives for independence,” the statement from the Turkish Foreign Ministry said.
The Turkish Foreign Ministry emphasized the historical significance of this date and paid tribute to all those who lost their lives in the struggle for Azerbaijan's independence.
