Uzbekistan and Belarus to Expand Cooperation in Tourism
Uzbekistan and Belarus discussed expanding tourism cooperation, including growth in tourist flows and the development of air links between Tashkent and Minsk.

Uzbekistan and Belarus discussed prospects for expanding cooperation in tourism, including increased tourist exchanges, the development of air links between Tashkent and Minsk, and interaction between representatives of the tourism industries of the two countries. This was reported by the Tourism Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
A meeting between the deputy chairman of the Tourism Committee, Sanjar Tadjiev, and the director of the National Agency for Tourism under the Government of Belarus, Kirill Masharsky, was held as part of the Dushanbe International Tourism Expo (DITE 2026), which is taking place in Dushanbe on September 24–26.
The sides discussed ways to use air links on the Tashkent–Minsk route more effectively, as well as to intensify direct contacts between tourism authorities, tour operators and representatives of the private sector.
Promising Areas
Cultural, educational, family, medical and sanatorium-resort tourism were identified as promising areas of cooperation. Meeting participants also considered organizing vacations, treatment and rehabilitation through trade unions, exchanging experience in ecotourism and conducting information tours.
Following the meeting, the National Agency for Tourism of Belarus and representatives of the country's tourism industry were invited to take part with a national stand in the 31st Tashkent International Tourism Fair "Tourism on the Silk Road" (TITF–2026).
The sides confirmed their readiness to continue interaction under the agreements reached and to implement joint initiatives in the field of tourism.
