Son of folk ensemble “Nənələr” member killed in Russia-Ukraine war
Military doctor Vahab Ramazan oglu Guliiev, son of Khanymbadzhi Guliieva, a member of the folk ensemble "Nənələr," was killed in a drone strike in the Kupiansk area.

During the Russia-Ukraine war, 58-year-old military doctor Vahab Ramazan oglu Guliiev was killed. He was a native of the village of Separadi in Azerbaijan's Lankaran district and the son of Khanymbadzhi Guliieva, a member of the Azerbaijani folk ensemble "Nənələr."
According to Azerbaijani media, Guliiev was killed several days ago in a drone strike in the Kupiansk area. Efforts are under way to deliver his body to Azerbaijan and bury him in his home village.
Guliiev was called up for military service by the Ukrainian side a year after the war began, to work in his professional field. He was wounded twice in combat, received treatment and returned to the ranks.
Biography
In 1986, Vahab Guliiev enrolled in the pharmaceutical faculty of a medical institute in Ukraine. In 1993–1994, he worked on his dissertation, defended it in Moscow and received the title of candidate of medical sciences. He lived in Ukraine for more than 30 years.
Several Azerbaijani media outlets report the death of the son of the "Nənələr" member. According to their data, another Azerbaijani also died in this conflict.
