A voice AI assistant may improve outcomes for patients with diabetes. This was stated by Vita Zektser, assistant at the Department of Hospital Therapy No. 1 of the Institute of Clinical Medicine at Sechenov University, assessing the role of daily remote contact.
"Daily remote contact helps maintain self-monitoring, notice deviations in time and increase adherence to recommendations," Zektser noted.
According to her, this format of interaction with the patient promotes a more attentive attitude to one's condition and adherence to medical prescriptions.
