A Russian unmanned aerial vehicle struck the central building of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), located in Kyiv on Volodymyrska Street, opposite Saint Sophia Cathedral.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported that the drone was aimed directly at the office of SBU head Oleksandr Poklad. The head of state confirmed that he spoke with the intelligence chief following the incident.
Emergency services are currently working at the scene. According to the president, all those affected will receive the necessary assistance.
Zelenskyy stated that he has instructed Oleksandr Poklad to prepare an adequate and tangible response to the attack. The president emphasized that the retaliatory actions should be "mirror" in nature, and that the military will provide the necessary support in implementing these measures.
