A major technical failure at the UK's National Air Traffic Services has led to the cancellation of more than 1,900 flights. According to data from the analytics firm Cirium, recorded as of 5 a.m. on September 9, the consequences of the incident continue to impact airport operations for the second consecutive day.
In addition to mass cancellations, a significant number of flights have been delayed. The situation has affected the travel plans of tens of thousands of passengers across the country.
Although the technical fault that caused the collapse has been resolved, airlines continue to face serious disruptions to their flight schedules, causing prolonged chaos in air travel.
