Drone Crashes Near Ukraine Border, Fire Erupts in Romania
An unidentified unmanned aerial vehicle crashed in Tulcea County in eastern Romania, near the border with Ukraine. A fire broke out, but no one was injured.

On the night of October 2, an unidentified unmanned aerial vehicle crashed in Romania's Tulcea County, located near the border with Ukraine. A fire broke out as a result of the crash.
According to Romania's Ministry of National Defence, the radar surveillance system recorded drone strikes on targets and infrastructure on Ukrainian territory, near the Romanian-Ukrainian water border, north of Tulcea County.
At around 05:00, it was established that the drone had crashed near the village of Plauru in Tulcea County. A fire broke out at the site.
It is noted that no one was injured in the fire, and no damage was caused to any facility. Units of the Inspectorate for Emergency Situations and the Ministry of Defence were deployed to extinguish the fire.
Earlier, on September 24, another unmanned aerial vehicle also crashed on Romanian territory.
