President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received the Minister of State for Trade of the Department for Business, Innovation, Science and Trade of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, co-chair of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission Lord Anas Sarwar on 6 October.

The meeting was covered by Azerbaijani media, some of which published photographs from the reception.
Lord Anas Sarwar holds the post of Minister of State for Trade and is co-chair of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission.
