In Bodrum, Turkey, heavy rain on October 26, 2026 flooded streets and work premises. According to CNN TÜRK and Milliyet, roads in the area turned into rivers, and water entered shops and offices in the Kumbahçe neighbourhood of Muğla province.

According to media reports, rain fell from the morning with interruptions and complicated daily life for residents. The Meteorological Service and the Regional Forecast and Warning Centre of the 4th Region, which issued a warning for the area, forecast heavy precipitation in Muğla and surrounding districts.

Because of the water, the Kumbahçe–Gümüşlük road was closed to traffic for some time. After the signal, municipal crews from Muğla Büyükşehir and Bodrum were sent to the area.

The flooded road was reopened later. Workers cleared rain grates, which had been blocked by river debris, and pumped out water.

A retaining wall also collapsed in Kumbahçe, and a parked motorcycle was damaged. Authorities warned residents that rain in the area would continue with interruptions over the course of the day and urged them to exercise caution and take precautionary measures.
