Deteriorating weather conditions are forecast in Azerbaijan for August 31. According to the National Hydrometeorological Service, intermittent rain, turning into heavy downpours at times, will fall in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula.
Thunderstorms are possible in some parts of the peninsula, with intense and brief heavy precipitation forecast for the evening hours. An occasionally strengthening northwest wind is expected.
The air temperature on the Absheron Peninsula will be 20-23°C at night and 24-26°C during the day. Atmospheric pressure is recorded at 761 mm Hg, and relative humidity will be 70-80%.
Brief showers are also expected in places across Azerbaijan's regions. There is a probability of thunderstorms, brief intense downpours, and hail in some districts. Fog is possible in certain mountainous areas at night and in the morning, while an east wind will strengthen in places.
The air temperature in the country's regions will be 18-23°C at night and 25-29°C during the day. In the mountains, temperatures of 11-16°C are expected at night and 19-24°C during the day.
