A couple from Xinjiang took their five children home by train. Fellow passengers and railway staff helped them during the 36-hour journey.

A Chinese couple from Xinjiang travelled home by train with their five children, who were born on 26 February in Wuhan. During the 36-hour journey, fellow passengers and railway staff helped them.
The children were born at one of the large hospitals in Wuhan, in Hubei province in central China. Among them are one boy and four girls. The father, known as Abu, and the mother, Dili, are described as coming from Hotan, in Xinjiang in northwestern China.
The mother is 24 years old. According to Hubei Daily, she had previously been diagnosed with polycystic ovary syndrome, which can make pregnancy difficult. Nevertheless, she conceived naturally.
After the children were born, their parents and an aunt looked after them in Wuhan.
During the train journey, crew members and other passengers took turns caring for the babies. The children became favourites of both train staff and fellow passengers.
