Palestinian protesters in Madrid are demanding the cancellation of performances of an Israeli dance show at one of the Spanish capital's theatres.
Theatre director Ruperto Merino rejected demands to cancel the performances. According to him, decisions on the artistic programme were made on the basis of professional, not political, considerations.
