The President of Azerbaijan has approved the schedule for active military conscription, which will take place from October 1 to October 30, 2026.

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has signed a decree on the regular conscription of the country's citizens for active military service. According to the document, the conscription activities will take place from October 1 to October 30, 2026.
As part of the conscription, Azerbaijani citizens born in 2008 who have reached the age of 18 by the time of the draft will be called up for service. Also subject to conscription are citizens under the age of 30, born between 1996 and 2007, who have not previously completed active military service in the country's Armed Forces.
A condition for conscription is that the citizens do not have the right to a deferment or exemption from active military service.
The same decree establishes the procedure for discharge into the reserve. Servicemen currently performing active military service who have completed the term of service established by the Law "On Military Duty and Military Service" will be discharged into the reserve between October 1 and October 30, 2026.
