Azerbaijan Railways (ADY) has issued an official warning to passengers regarding the increasing number of cases involving the sale of fake tickets for the Baku–Tbilisi–Baku route. Recently, the company has received numerous reports from citizens who have fallen victim to fraudulent schemes.
According to ADY, some travel companies and social media accounts are offering passengers tickets for seats that do not actually exist. The company emphasized that it does not cooperate with any intermediaries or travel agencies and does not allocate ticket quotas to them.
Currently, reports regarding these fraudulent activities have been sent to law enforcement agencies. An investigation is underway to identify the individuals and social media pages involved in these illegal activities in order to hold them accountable in accordance with the law.
To ensure travel safety and eliminate risks, ADY recommends purchasing tickets exclusively through the company's official website, the "ADY Mobile" application, or at railway ticket offices.
