US Tech Leaders Call for Easing AI Regulation

Leading representatives of the US technology industry, including Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang and Tesla head Elon Musk, have appealed to world leaders to reconsider their approaches to artificial intelligence regulation. According to the entrepreneurs, the introduction of rigid legislative barriers could negatively impact the pace of innovation.
The statement was made on Wednesday in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, during a G20 meeting. US Secretary of Commerce Howard Lutnick also participated in the event.
Jensen Huang emphasized that public policy should focus on preventing "real and pragmatic harm" rather than creating excessive restrictions. The industry's position is that over-regulation could weaken the US position in the midst of an intense technological race with China.
