Azerbaijan Takes Part in OGT-2026 Energy Conference in Ashgabat
The Azerbaijani delegation, headed by Deputy Minister of Energy Kamal Abbasov, took part in the OGT-2026 international conference and exhibition in Ashgabat.
The Azerbaijani delegation, headed by Deputy Minister of Energy Kamal Abbasov, took part in the international conference and exhibition Oil and Gas Turkmenistan – 2026 (OGT-2026) in Ashgabat. According to Report.az, citing the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Turkmenistan, representatives of government agencies, international energy companies and experts from various countries also took part in the event.
Along with Kamal Abbasov, the delegation included Azerbaijan's Ambassador to Turkmenistan Ismat Gozalov and representatives of the State Oil Company of the Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) and Baku Steel Company.
Speaking at the conference, Kamal Abbasov outlined current issues of cooperation in the energy sector.
The delegation also toured the exhibition and visited the SOCAR stand, the general sponsor of the OGT-2026 international conference.
