F4media.az reports that the hackathon, dedicated to the Year of Urban Planning and Architecture, aims to develop innovative solutions for the development of the liberated territories, promote investment opportunities and create a digital platform.
The competition, organised by the Agrarian Innovation Center of the Ministry of Agriculture, brings together 52 students representing 13 higher education institutions. Participants are preparing a concept for a digital platform that brings together investment opportunities and projects across the liberated districts.
During the competition, which lasts 44 hours 44 minutes and 44 seconds, students work in teams to develop their ideas, build functional models and present their projects. Representatives of nearly 10 acceleration and incubation centres provide mentoring support to the teams.
Deputy Minister of Agriculture Elchin Zeynalov, who attended the opening ceremony of the hackathon, highlighted the importance of such initiatives for increasing young people's interest in the agricultural sector, developing the startup ecosystem and applying digital solutions in agriculture.
At the end of the competition, the projects will be evaluated and the top three teams will be awarded.
