In Paris, shots were fired from a passing car. As a result, one person was killed and four others were injured.
Prime Minister of France Sébastien Lecornu said that one of the injured is a 12-year-old girl. According to him, the shooter lived in a neighbouring town.
The motives of the shooter are not yet known, Lecornu said.
The incident took place against the backdrop of an expected new wave of violent protests in France.
