On September 25, 2026, the Second Azerbaijan International Investment Forum (AIIF 2026) opened in Baku. The event is held under the patronage of President Ilham Aliyev and will last two days.
The forum has brought together leading global investors, representatives of government bodies and international financial institutions, as well as business leaders.
The event is organised through a strategic partnership between the Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan and The European House – Ambrosetti & TEHA Group. The forum's theme is “Restoring Trust in a Fragmented World: The South Caucasus as a Pillar of Global Connectivity and Investment Resilience.”
Objectives and programme
The forum is designed as a platform for building new partnerships, attracting investment and creating new economic opportunities. Its goal is to establish partnerships on specific projects and develop mechanisms for joint action that contribute to shared prosperity.
The sessions will discuss the impact of global economic and geopolitical processes on economic growth and investment, Azerbaijan's strategic position in this context, regional connectivity and investment opportunities, as well as prospects for cooperation across various sectors.
During the event, Azerbaijani institutions are expected to sign and exchange cooperation documents with a number of foreign companies and partners.
According to the organisers, the Second Azerbaijan International Investment Forum will contribute to the emergence of new investment areas and opportunities for cooperation, strengthen Azerbaijan's role in regional economic connectivity and help implement promising projects.
