Drunk Passenger Bites Crew Member on Istanbul-London Flight
A passenger who was allegedly drunk on an AJet flight from London to Istanbul bit a flight attendant and a female passenger. The airline blacklisted him and banned him from flying on its flights.

An AJet aircraft was operating flight VF-1990 from London Stansted Airport to Istanbul Sabiha Gokcen Airport. A passenger who was allegedly intoxicated bit a flight attendant and another female passenger. After landing in Istanbul, police detained the man.
According to information about the incident, during the flight the passenger approached a woman sitting next to him. She reported this to the flight attendants. The man did not respond to the crew's warnings and at some point bit the flight attendant and the female passenger.
The pilot then contacted the Sabiha Gokcen Airport dispatcher, described what had happened and asked for police to meet the aircraft. The airliner landed safely, and police officers detained the passenger.
AJet's response
In a statement, AJet said the injured passenger and flight attendant filed a complaint against the attacker. The company also said the passenger had been blacklisted and banned from flying on its flights.
