Nargiz Rustamova has been appointed Chief Operations Officer of the Azerbaijan Swimming Federation.
She will also serve as an adviser to the Local Organizing Committee (LOC Advisor) for the “World Aquatics Swimming World Cup – Silk Road Baku 2026”, which will be held in Azerbaijan for the first time.
Nargiz Rustamova has extensive professional experience in human resources management, administrative operations, protocol, and the organization of local and international events.
The first staging of the “World Aquatics Swimming World Cup-Silk Road Baku 2026” in Azerbaijan is an important event in the country's sporting life and is also of particular significance in terms of developing aquatic sports and demonstrating Azerbaijan's capacity to organize international sporting events.
