Turkey Detains 10 Influencers: Their Monthly Earnings Revealed
Ten influencers who posted scandalous content on social media have been detained in Turkey. They were brought to court, and their monthly earnings were found to range from 200,000 to 500,000 lira.

Ten influencers who hosted livestreams and posted content featuring fights, threats, insults, tense scenes and stories about victims have been detained in Turkey. After all procedures were completed, all the suspects were brought to court. This was reported on October 2, 2026.
According to the investigation, the detainees posted such material mainly on TikTok, as well as on Instagram and X (Twitter), earning income from it. During police questioning, they stated that they were unaware their actions were unlawful, and they reported their monthly earnings in the range of 200,000 to 500,000 lira.
The Operation and the Charges
The investigation was conducted by the Istanbul Police Department, the Public Order Department and the Cybercrime Department. After monitoring the networks and identifying the suspects, raids were carried out. Searches took place at addresses in Istanbul, as well as in Ankara, Antalya, Bursa, Kocaeli, Mugla, Gaziantep, Sanliurfa, Malatya and Elazig.
During the raids, 10 suspects were detained. They were brought to the Istanbul Public Order Department, where they were questioned.
The suspects face charges such as "inciting enmity and hatred among the population and degradation" and "indecency." After their detention, the influencers had blood samples taken to be tested for drug use.
After all procedures were completed, the suspects were sent to court.
