The combined export potential between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan exceeds $1.15 billion. This assessment is based on a detailed analysis of the economic opportunities of both states and surpasses the target benchmark of $1 billion previously set by the heads of both countries.
Mirshokhid Aslanov, Executive Director and Co-founder of the Center for Progressive Reforms of Uzbekistan, reported on the identified economic potential on September 15, 2026. The statement was made during the presentation of the study "Business Barometer Azerbaijan — Uzbekistan".
According to Aslanov's assessment, the trade opportunity indicators form a solid basis for increasing bilateral trade turnover and successfully fulfilling the tasks set by the leadership of both countries.
