The Fifth Azerbaijan-Turkey Energy Forum Begins Work in Baku
The fifth Azerbaijan-Turkey Energy Forum has kicked off in the capital of Azerbaijan, during which key issues of bilateral partnership in the energy sector are planned to be discussed and a final protocol signed.

On September 11, the fifth Azerbaijan-Turkey Energy Forum opened in Baku. The event is attended by Azerbaijan's Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov and Turkey's Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Alparslan Bayraktar.
The forum program includes scheduled discussions on areas such as hydrocarbons and petrochemistry, energy efficiency, the electricity market, renewable energy sources, regulation, and the mining industry.
Following the meeting, provisions are in place for signing the forum protocol and organizing a briefing for media representatives.
The Azerbaijan-Turkey Energy Forum was established within the framework of the joint intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation to strengthen the strategic partnership between the two states.
Previous meetings of the forum took place in various cities: the first forum was held on December 21–22, 2021, in Baku; the second on October 5–6, 2022, in Istanbul; the third on September 28–29, 2023, in Nakhchivan; and the fourth took place on September 4, 2025, in Izmir.
