During operations on two patients in one day at Dörtyol State Hospital in Turkey's Hatay province, three brain tumours were successfully removed.
According to F4Media.az's special correspondent in Turkey, Hüseyn Zorku, the operations were carried out by neurosurgeon Op. Dr. Mazlum Işık and the operating team.
According to reports, in the first operation, two tumours that had formed as a result of metastasis from lung cancer were diagnosed in the brain. During the surgery, both tumours were successfully removed.
During the second operation, a large meningioma measuring an estimated 6 centimetres, which was pressing on the brain, was removed with the help of modern medical equipment.
After the successful operations, the condition of both patients was reported to have improved, and they were discharged from the hospital in good health.
The successful completion of complex neurosurgical interventions once again demonstrates the importance of modern medical technologies and specialised medical teams.
