President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev sent a congratulatory letter to President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of the republic's state independence.
In his message, the head of the Azerbaijani state expressed satisfaction with the strengthening of friendship and brotherhood between the peoples of the two countries, who are connected by common religious, cultural, and historical roots.
Ilham Aliyev emphasized that active dialogue at the highest level, regular contacts, and close cooperation create favorable conditions for the accelerated development and deepening of bilateral ties.
The President of Azerbaijan expressed confidence that the strategic partnership, based on mutual trust and support, will continue to develop on an upward trajectory and will be strengthened through the joint efforts of the parties.
