Russian Defense Ministry reports destruction of 29 Ukrainian drones and capture of two settlements

The Russian Ministry of Defense announced that it had repelled a massive unmanned aerial vehicle attack. According to official data, between 08:00 and 20:00 Moscow time, air defense systems intercepted and destroyed 29 Ukrainian drones.
The incidents were recorded over the territories of the Belgorod, Bryansk, Kursk, Ryazan, and Tambov regions, as well as over the Republic of Crimea and the Black Sea.
Simultaneously, the Russian military department reported successes on the ground. During offensive operations, units of the Russian Armed Forces took control of the settlements of Veliky Prikol and Sadki, located in the Sumy region in northeastern Ukraine.
According to the ministry, over the past 24 hours, the total losses of the Ukrainian side across all directions amounted to 1,425 military personnel. The department emphasized that Russian troops continue to advance along the front line.
