State Support Mechanisms in Agriculture Discussed in Hajigabul

A panel discussion on “State Support Mechanisms in Agriculture” was held in Hajigabul, jointly organized by the Ministry of Agriculture’s Agricultural Innovation Center and the Hajigabul District Executive Authority.

Representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture and its subordinate institutions, the Food Safety Agency, the Agricultural Insurance Fund, the Azerbaijan State Water Resources Agency, the State Employment Agency and the banking sector, as well as farmers and entrepreneurs, took part in the panel discussion.

The event addressed agricultural producers’ opportunities to benefit from state support instruments, subsidy mechanisms, the application of agricultural insurance, access to financial resources for agricultural activities, and preferential lending opportunities.

In addition, participants exchanged views on water supply and land reclamation, food safety requirements during the production and circulation of agricultural products, product certification procedures, and other current issues.

During the discussions, detailed information was provided on the measures envisaged for the agricultural sector under the State Program, state support mechanisms, and opportunities created for farmers and entrepreneurs in this area. Questions of interest to the participants were also clarified, and their proposals and initiatives were heard.

At the end, questions raised by farmers and entrepreneurs were answered by representatives of the relevant institutions, and appropriate recommendations were provided on the effective use of state support mechanisms.
