Tajikistan's Prime Minister Kohir Rasulzoda, who is on a visit to Azerbaijan, visited Victory Park and the Alley of Honor in Baku. Several Azerbaijani media outlets reported this, publishing photographs.
On 24 September, an honor guard was formed at Victory Park in honor of the guest. The Prime Minister of Tajikistan laid a wreath at the Victory Monument.
The guest was given a detailed account of Victory Park, created to preserve in memory the unparalleled heroism of the Azerbaijani people in the Patriotic War and the great historic Victory, as well as to perpetuate the memory of the martyrs.
At the Alley of Honor, Kohir Rasulzoda visited the grave of Heydar Aliyev. A wreath and flowers were laid before the monument to the national leader, and respect was expressed for his memory.
The graves of the outstanding scientist-ophthalmologist, academician Zarifa Aliyeva, the well-known statesman Aziz Aliyev and Professor Tamerlan Aliyev were also visited.
