The United Arab Emirates is reviewing its plans to build artificial intelligence data centers following recent attacks from Iran. As a possible security measure, authorities are considering the option of underground construction for such facilities.
Originally, the large-scale project was planned as a single campus covering an area of 10 square miles (26 square kilometers) in Abu Dhabi. Now, however, the concept has changed: the project will most likely consist of a distributed network of data centers spread across the country.
