Ministries of Defense of Azerbaijan and Bulgaria Discussed Social Security Issues for Military Personnel
Representatives of the defense departments of Azerbaijan and Bulgaria held negotiations within the framework of the bilateral military cooperation plan for 2026.

A working meeting of delegations from the Ministries of Defense of Azerbaijan and Bulgaria took place in Baku. The event was held in accordance with the bilateral military cooperation plan between the two countries for 2026.
The main topic of discussion was the exchange of experience in the field of cultural and social work with military personnel. The parties paid special attention to issues regarding the effective use of opportunities for rest, vacations, and the health improvement of personnel.
The meeting was held at the Ideological Work Department of the Main Personnel Department of the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan. During the negotiations, the Azerbaijani side presented a report to the Bulgarian delegation on the measures taken in the national army to organize leisure for military personnel.
The participants also reviewed prospects for further development of cooperation in this area. Following the negotiations, the parties exchanged commemorative gifts and took a joint photograph.
