Iranian troupe performs at 5th Shaki International Theatre Festival
On the fourth day of the 5th Shaki International Theatre Festival, Iran's Ardebil Moqan Honar Theatre presented the play "An Araz Flows Within Me."

On the fourth day of the 5th Shaki International Theatre Festival, the Ardebil Moqan Honar Theatre of the Islamic Republic of Iran presented the play "An Araz Flows Within Me." The performance was met with great interest and applause from festival participants and theatre lovers.
The play was written by Arif Mahtab, and directed by Garib Manuchehri. The stage work depicts a young woman's longing and anticipation, a young man's years of suffering as he seeks to return to his homeland, and their inability to reunite.
The roles were performed by Davar Farmani and Nastaran Akbarzadeh. The music and vocal arrangement for the play was prepared by Yashar Hashimi.
Festival symbol and certificate of appreciation
After the performance, the festival's symbol was presented to the leadership of the Ardebil Moqan Honar Theatre by Boyukhanim Talibova, head of the Performing Arts Sector of the Fine Arts Policy Department of the Ministry of Culture. The Shaki City Executive Authority presented the troupe with a certificate of appreciation and a commemorative gift.
In addition, a commemorative gift was presented to the festival's artistic director, People's Artist Mirbala Salimli, by the play's director, Garib Manuchehri.
Thus, the next day of the festival was remembered for an interesting stage work and cultural exchange between Azerbaijan and Iran.
