Official representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Maria Zakharova stated that a number of external forces are making active attempts to incite conflict in the Asia-Pacific region (APR). She announced this on September 2, 2026, in Vladivostok during the Eastern Economic Forum.
Zakharova emphasized that the actions of these players are aimed at destabilizing the situation in the region. In her assessment, such steps create additional security risks and hinder the peaceful development of cooperation in the APR.
