Violations identified in 19 Azerbaijani pharmacies following August inspections
In August 2026, specialists from the Ministry of Health of Azerbaijan inspected 70 pharmacies, identifying violations in 19 of them. Administrative protocols have been drawn up against the responsible parties.

In August 2026, the Analytical Expert Center (AEC) under the Ministry of Health of Azerbaijan conducted a large-scale inspection of pharmacy chain operations. In total, the inspections covered 70 pharmaceutical retail facilities.
According to the agency, the majority of the inspections took place in Baku, where 48 pharmacies were inspected. Another 22 inspections were carried out in other cities and districts of the republic.
The inspections were distributed as follows: 51 were planned, 16 were unplanned, and 3 were conducted in another format.
During the control measures, various violations of the law were recorded in 19 pharmacies. In connection with the identified facts, AEC specialists drew up administrative protocols.
The cases were initiated based on articles 210.1, 215.4, 221.1, 452.1, and 452.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
